Teaching as a passion.
For almost 20 years I have been giving training in the most diverse creative areas. Obviously Design is one of them, and probably the one that is closest to me.
There are two people in my life who influenced me and made me understand the importance of knowledge. My mother, who was a teacher all her life and knew how to educate me so well and to guide me through moral and intellectual values, and Mestre Mendanha, a drawing teacher during college. With him I learned the importance of being passionate about what we do and being expressive in our actions. After 20 years, I often resort to their teachings during the classes I teach.
I sincerely believe that sharing knowledge is one of the best things we can do as human beings. I think that teaching is in itself a way of learning more. The best kind of knowledge we can have is the ability to communicate it.
Never lose the urge to want to know more.
What kind of person do you want to be? Those who think they already know a lot or those who are always looking to know more? I decided that I want to be both. First because there are subjects that I master completely and second because when I master them I always look for the next subject to learn it as well. We don't have to be afraid of appearing arrogant, especially when we spend long periods of our lives learning and improving certain subjects. Arrogance is perfectly compatible with humility. Just be humbly arrogant. After that, just continue to learn new things. If we expect the world and humanity to evolve, why shouldn't we expect it from ourselves?
